DATE: Art Deco, c.1920

A spectacular Art Deco brooch featuring a giardinetti scene, complete with bird perched on the flower basket, within a picture frame border. It's fully set with lively paste gemstones in white, pink, royal blue, and pastel pink and blue. The settings are finished in fine millegrain and the 835 silver stamp on the back indicates German origin.
